Ellen de Werd makes her home in Oregon. Her gift for drawing was evident from a very early age and she was enrolled in private art classes. After graduation from high school, she attended Harper College and later was an applied art major at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
Her “whimsical” series is a unique signature style for Elle. Her ability to capture the uniqueness of everyday life in this charming way makes these paintings especially endearing. |
